Top Tips to Take Care of Your EV (Especially in Hot Climates)

1. Battery Health is Everything

• Avoid extreme heat when parked: Park in shaded areas or covered parking to reduce battery stress. Some EVs offer “battery cooling modes” for hot weather.

• Don’t charge to 100% daily unless necessary. Keeping it around 80-90% can extend battery life.

2. Use Pre-Conditioning Wisely

• Pre-cool your EV while it's still plugged in, especially during summer. This helps reduce battery drain while driving and ensures cabin comfort.

3. Keep It Clean

• EVs don’t have tailpipes, but dust and sand can still build up—especially in the UAE. Wash your EV regularly, including underbody rinses to avoid corrosion (especially if near coastal areas).
